Pandemic : A tight rope walk for government

Once again government of india extends its #lockdown4.0 into a new version #lockdown5.0 dealing with pandemic, which is literally different from the previous one.Precisely, this time government of india ensuring to making life of people more easier than before so little more relaxation being given to them.Infact, government mulling to lift the lockdown entirely so simultaneous with #lockdown5.0 unlocking process also begun so called #unlock1.Infact, India being under lockdown over several weeks due to which particularly daily wage earner impacted a lot.As millions of people depending upon their livelihood with daily wage earning. But during lockdown they have been at home quarantine for long time and somehow managed to lead their life well. Not only this the lockdown also hit impact upon the productivity of industrial sectors a lot.As small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) which is considered to be one of the biggest source for job creation in india indeed plays significant role in providing jobs to the people. But, due to lockdown severely implication been witnessed in job creation and consequently at a large scale employees been laid off.According to the Official Report of Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), in the month of April 15.4 crores of people lost their jobs and it is predicted that upcoming months situation going to be terrible. At the same time if we look at the GDP of the country then which is also not in better condition.According to Chairman of 15th finance commission, NK Singh, the nationwide lockdown, in wake Covid-19 outbreak, is likely to limit India's GDP growth to -6 per cent to 1 per cent in the financial year 2020-21.This statistics is showing how GDP declining rapidly over a period of time. It's a crystal clear that under lockdown period India got severely impacted of its multiple sectors. Therefore, government of india admitted that lockdown is not the solution to deal with such problems so post #lockdown4 it was finally thought lifting it in phase wise as under lockdown the country going through tough economic phase. Thus, government eventually decided going for some relaxation to the people in their day to day life.At the same time when we look at the current scenario of Covid-19 cases then we find it the situation is also not in healthy one as every single day the numbers of Covid-19 cases surging across the country which is certainly alarming. According to the Reports, currently India holds 4th position in Covid-19 numbers across the world and still its number terribly increasing every single day. Now, it is predicted that pretty soon India is going to have the highest number of Covid-19 cases. As lifting lockdown and going for the #unlock1 is undoubtedly giving some relaxation to the people. But the way covid19 numbers surging which is a matter of great concern for the country. Not denial the fact that India is undoubtedly in better condition in mortality rate of covid19 than rest of the covid19 effected countries in the World. But, it's also fact that if community spreading occurs in countries like India where 1.3 billions people living then there might be a vulnereble condition in near future.According to current Reports india crossed more than four lakhs Covid-19 cases wherein fourteen thousand people died.
However, when we look at both the condition; post lockdown and unlocking process so called #Unlock1 then we find it that none of the condition is suitable one for the people.Infact, now it's a tight rope walk for the government dealing with such problems. It's also fact that not only India but also the entire world going through such tough phase and almost every single country doing their best ways dealing with such problems. Therefore, now it's going to be very significant role of the government how to find the ways to deal with such problems so that people may back to their normal life soon.
